** For those with a good amount of bat speed and power, it is suggested NOT to shave the bat, however, average power kids can break these bats as well.   If you do opt for the shave, we would NOT go past the level 1 shave option if you want any chance of the bat holding up.  These bats do have iffy durability even in stock form, but they are scary hot performance wise.  **
